Alan PhilipMEUDELLAlan Philip Meudell, of Penallta Road, Ystrad Mynach, passed away peacefully on 29th June 2026 at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, aged 68.

Adored civil partner of Bethan. Beloved brother of John, David and the late Roger, and much-loved uncle to Georgina.

Alan dedicated his life to improving mental health services and amplifying the voices of people with lived experience.

Alan did not wish for a formal funeral service. He will be cremated at Sirhowy Valley Crematorium, before being interred at Usk Natural Burial Ground, where he will rest alongside his late mother, brother and extended family.
